Wausau Made Welcomes Lt. Gov. Rebecca Kleefisch, Hosts News Conference Announcing National Veterans Initiative
Wausau Made and its parent company, Wausau Tile Inc., have made it a priority to hire and support veterans since opening for business in 1953. This ongoing commitment was one of many reasons the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation, the Wisconsin Department of Veterans Affairs and other state-led organizations selected Wausau Tile to host a joint press conference with Lt. Gov. Rebecca Kleefisch, who, on August 24, announced a national campaign encouraging veterans to live and work in Wisconsin as they transition into life after the military.
Bryan Borrell, president of Wausau Tile Inc., and Mike Skains, a veteran and longtime employee, followed Lt. Gov. Kleefisch’s announcement by expanding on the significance of the campaign and reiterating the company’s commitment to supporting Wisconsin veterans with quality jobs.
